In the Eleven episodes of Dreamsinger, there are close to 100 songs that help carry this epic narrative from its beginnings on the streets of East Vancouver to the heart of the Miky Way galaxy. This is, throughout its course, about both inner as well as outer journeys, and the music reflects this throughout.
The style of each songs reflects both the character’s essence and the drama unfolding in that moment. What they all have in common is a focus on strong melodies, whatever the musical idiom: hip-hop, pop, jazz, hard rock, cyber-disco, folk.
Never have this many songs – one that both move and evoke deeper self-awareness – been woven together in one contiguous narrative.
